David,

In a CL Program you can use RTVGRPA GRPJOBL(&GRPLST)

The GRPJOBL is a list of the Group Jobs. The first one in the list is the currently active Group Job. Using this you can find out if the Group Job is already active.

Crispin.

Thanks,

When I hit escape, I transfer to the group job. When I come
back, I can show the log that says my job did this :

CHGGRPA GRPJOB(MYGROUP)
TFRGRPJOB GRPJOB(ATTN) INLGRPPGM(MYPGM)

WrkActJob shows :

MYJOB FOXWELL INTER GROUPE
GRP-MYGROUP
INTER ACTIF

The second line being the group job.

How do I know if a group job is already active before
transferring to it?
