So sorry...
You are correct (I am wrong...)
there isn't anyplace in the CHGDEVPRT to change outq.
It does appear to be you need to either use STRPRTWTR with the outq
parm, or do two steps (STRPRTWTR and CHGWTR).

Is there a way to change the default output queue associatedPardon me if I misunderstand the question, but wouldn't CHGDEVPRT work?
with a device? For example, I have a device named PRT16 and I
want to have it assigned to output queue MYQUEUE when I issue
the STRPRTWTR command, without requiring me to specify it on
the command.
Thanks, Albert
