Hi Jim
Does the array or the controlling system have any NSF services available ?
All of the i5/OS to Windows file share services seem too flakey for this
kind of function to me.

Thanks for the information Spencer, I double checked on all that you
mentioned, and it looks right to me.
Is creating a file in a subdirectory (which I can do using the CPY command
from i5/OS and the cp utlity from qshell) different than creating a new
subdirectory (which fails when using the MD command or mkdir qshell
utility)? I have all authority to the disk array.
Any other place to look for why I am getting a failure? The job log has
absolutely no help.
