Let me see if I can summarize what you said. That, instead of:
qcmdexc(myCmdString:...);
you had
MyCLProgram(StreamFileName);
then it should be quite easy for the CL program (or module in a
multimodule program) to handle it and not stress about the quoting. Since
the cl would simply have
PGM PARM(&OBJLNK)
DCL VAR(&OBJLNK) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(255)
RMVLNK OBJLNK(&ObjLnk)
