RE: Invalid dates in data transfer

My money's on Scott's answer...

Mine too, as usual. :)

Note if you are trying to run the data transfer using the Excel plug in,
Excel doesn't support years before 1900 (or 1904). So you are going to
have
a problem with dates of '0001-01-01'.

So for that, you can use a CASE :
SELECT field1, field2, CASE WHEN myDate < '1904-01-01' THEN
DATE('1904-01-01') ELSE myDate END,
Field4, ...
