I don't think I've ever written a line of C, assembler or MI. Most of the
API documentation (except the unix apis) isn't that hard to understand.

You really need to understand a few basics about the API's though.
Including:
- Error Code Structure
- List format APIs. Especially heading areas and all that talk.

Either I've been reading Hindi all my life and people just called it
English or you are using the wrong version of Infocenter. Then again,
it's been a few hours since I last called into IBM support and had to talk
to the receptionists on that line so maybe I've calmed down.

We have people here whose goal is to retire before they ever "have" to use
WDSC, subprocedures, etc. However some of them can bang out an api.
