I've heard of SIMDATE, but never used it. What does it do that CHGJOB doesn't do?

Any SIMDATE users out there? Any former users who've gone to something else? This is a program that we bought for Y2K and it allows a change of the system date for job. We need to re-license it or purchase something else.
