Subject: Force a SBS to end after *IMMED didn't work
Date: Sat, 30 May 2009 23:25:12 +1000

Hi,

Running Domino 8.0.2 on V5R4

Couldn't log on to Sametime. Checked console and saw this message:

05/30/2009 22:53:02 Directory Assistance failed opening Primary Domino
Dire
ctory names.nsf, error: This database is currently in use by another person
o
r process, and cannot be accessed at this time. In order to share a Notes
da
tabase, it must be accessed via a Domino Server by all users of the
database.

I shutdown and started the server and got the same message. Shut it down
again and did a 9 in WRKDOMSVR for the server and it still showed all the
jobs still running. They weren't ending but all just running as if nothing
was wrong.

Went into SBS and ended the SBS *IMMED (I am impatient). Everything ended
except 3 x Trend tasks. SMDEMF, SMDMON and SMDREAL. They are in an end
status but will not end. I tried each job individually and tried to end
*IMMED but they won't budge.

How can I end the SBS?

TIA

Nathan
