Have a look at support pack MO71 http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg24000142

Create a svrconn on your queue manager, and give it the mcauser id of qmqmadm

Use the client connect of the mqmon configuration from your PC (nothing to install on the 400)

Use "list queues"

Locate the queue you want, right click and select "unload queue"

Unload the queue to a file of your choice, and then use the same tool to load it to another queue or another queue manager.

There is another supprt pack that delivers qload... does the same but from the command line.

Read the docs in the support pack - it's a goldmine!

Hello, I've got a queue manager that's showing 20 messages in a queue.? Is there any way I can easily save these messages and restore them, if necessary?? What I've done is savlib?the library containing this queue manager but I'm not sure how I'd restore just the queue messages???

Are there other ways to save and restore?the messages??

Thanks, Frank??
