Lukas did mention that (briefly) with "just ensure that all the vendor
software you have supports V6R1".

Expanding that you should also check your own. Sounds simple. However,
many vendors are happy sucking in your maintenance money. Just don't
expect them to spend any of it on maintenance. Most have finally come
into compliance with ANZOBJCVN.

A few may not have realized they have other issues. Some don't pop up
until a compile attempt on V6R1 and I suspect if the program was one they
had to recompile they probably did it on some other release. For example
Infor (SSA) use of SQL to access the RID column of the FRT table. RID is
a reserved word in 6.1 SQL. So to recompile that program it needed some
small modification.
