No. I'm suggesting that you should turn off your caps lock when typing into
the search box. I provided URLs in the hope that you'd click on them and
bypass your typing so that you could see it working.

What are you saying, I shouldn't use the search box but I should construct
my own url?

So I carefully looked at the url's and tried to find the differences.
Taking out little things like hl=en and whatnot didn't make the
difference. I think I finally figured it out. Google doesn't like
capitals. So "stop yelling at google" translates to "don't use capitals".
Sorry, should have figured out that bit of etiquette.

There is a difference between

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22EXPIRATION+DATE%22+LICENSE+RESET+ISERIES+site%3AIBM.COM&btnG=Search
and

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22EXPIRATION+DATE%22+LICENSE+RESET+ISERIES+SITE%3AIBM.COM&btnG=Search

Changing SITE to site makes a difference. Thanks for that tip.

Easy there, chief. Stop yelling at Google, you're harshing its mellow.

Try this:
"search for this and that but not this"

Double quotes are working fine.

Trying to search some midrange stuff on google lately and, man, does
google stink. Searching for strings surrounded by double quotes is not
respected - it still breaks apart the phrase. specifying site:ibm.com
still lists links to numerous other sites. Am I doing something wrong?
