Maybe the act of saving the object flags it as changed in a way that
BRMS interprets as needing to be saved. Why don't you do the option 21
through BRMS using the console monitor and the SYSTEM group instead of
option 21 off the save menu?

Subject: BRMS save question

I do a daily save changed objects on one of my System i's using BRMS and

run a full BRMS save on the weekend. This last weekend I did not run a
full BRMS save but rather a save 21. My first daily save of this week
saved many more objects than the last daily save of last week. Other
than
the Save 21, nothing else of significance was run on the server.
According
to IBM support, BRMS uses a different object change flag than processes
outside of BRMS which would account for why objects are being picked up
for save since the save 21(that was big news to me !). What that doesn't

explain is why so many more are now flagged as changed and will be
saved.
Does anyone has any thoughts on what would account for this ?
