The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
There is DSPUSRPRF TYPE(*OBJAUT) which can be spooled or to an
output file against which a report can be generated. There is also
the PRTPVTAUT command, but that gives private authority information
from another perspective; i.e. the objects, not a user. Neither was
new to v5r4, so maybe neither is what was of interest. Perhaps
there is a tool\utility making use of the "List Objects User Is
Authorized to, Owns, or Is Primary Group of" (QSYLOBJA) API for
which a search of that API name might assist to find one.
How to view -> Object Authorities:

I am certain I saw a new command that would display or print all
of a users private authorities. I think it is new to V5R4, but a
search of the memo to users did not turn anything up. I might not
be using the correct keywords to search for, does anyone know
what I'm talking about?
