That would be great! You could learn how to speak "Southern". I'll take you
to a Waffle House for breakfast.

Subject: AW: My Common Reno Experience

Hi,

finally being back to Germany (after a long, long trip. First the plane in
Reno was delayed for 2 hours. When we reached San Francisco, my connection
flight departed 5 minutes ago and the next flight was delayed for almost 8
hours), just my feedback about the Common Conference.

It was my first participation in an Common Conference in USA, and I really
enjoyed it.
I loved to meet all you guys (such as Vern, David, Pete, Dan and, and, and
...) I only knew from these forums and from articles they wrote.

Even though the education program was great and I learned a lot, we did not
only discuss over AS/400, iSeries, Power Systems, RPG, CL and SQL, but also
a lot of other subjects.

... and finally I could not only practice but also improve my English (at
least I hope it ;)).

I hope I can convince my manager to let me come back for the Common
Conference next year in Orlando.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards

Birgitta Hauser

Thanks - and I've really enjoyed meeting and visiting with Birgitta -
what a pleasant surprise!

All in all a very enjoyable and, I hope, fruitful COMMON meeting for me.

There is a COMMON Europe, I understand.

Hello,

If anyone's interested, I've decided to do a "video log" of
my time in Reno for COMMON's annual conference. It's on YouTube...
