In our shop, we know that new procedures should always be put in the last
position of the binder source. From now on, we know that data exports
should also be put in the last position. (The data export was probably put
on the fifth position because it is used in the context of ECL_CHKAD.)
In addition to always adding to the end of the list, I've always
modified the signature also, something like:
STRPGMEXP PGMLVL(*CURRENT) SIGNATURE('ECL_PRC01 V02')
and
STRPGMEXP PGMLVL(*PRV) SIGNATURE('ECL_PRC01 V01')
Existing programs use the exports that match the signature they were
compiled with. I've not had any problems doing it that way, so I guess
it must work (as long as the previously existing method argument
definitions don't change, of course.)
