Why would you simply drop Jasper Reports ? It's a great reporting
engine.

Jasper is simply using standard Java services. It's the iSeries that
doesn't support this well.

I would imagine any Java based rendering engine would suffer a similar
fate on the iSeries box.

Just curious about your statement :-) ?
