RE: Non displayable characters in a PF

He wants to achieve the same functionality as Windows when pasting
formatted text into an application that does not support formatted text
(i.e. Notepad), except he is pasting into a 5250 session.

Another option is to add data validation to the program(s) managing the
data entry.

Do you want to prevent the users from pasting anything at all? One
solution might be to use one of the open source emulators and modify the

paste code so that paste isn't allowed or ask the developers to do this
for you. I don't think there is a way to disable paste in iSeries
Access.
