Hello,

We rolled out our first desktop with Windows VISTA and had iseries
access 5rv2 installed on it for the ole db and odbc drivers.  I tested
linking to tables on the system with access and it worked fine.

Now, this user also got Analysis Services and the Business
Intelligence package (from MS SQL Server) installed on his computer to
do soem data mining projects against the iSeries data.  We seem to be
having issues with the iseries data source.

Currently my theory is that the ole db driver for 5rv2 has some quirks
on Vista and that I need at least 5rv4.  Is it possible to get that
driver (or any iseries ole db driver certified for Vista) without
having to buy the OS upgrade for the iseries?

Thanks,
Adam
