How does one ensure the desired IBM-supplied subsystems start?

Quite honestly, I wasn't sure whether it was purely a matter of putting them into the startup program (and naturally, the customer changed the name thereof -- thanks, "sjl")

The whole issue is that a new customer is asking us to move our server into a different subsystem from the one it's running in (not an unreasonable request), and they seem to have done about half the job themselves, leaving me to figure out both what they'd left undone, and how to do it.

On a related note, since said server will be running in a dedicated subsystem, is there a way to have the server start with the subsystem?
