Crazy idea - maybe you could have a generic data structure in the copybook - then declare the ones you want in each program with LIKEDS and PREFIX - something like that - am on vacation so brain is elsewhere!

Or have the one in the copybook be BASED - then no memory taken. Or use the TEMPLATE keyword in recent release(s).
