I feel your pain. I just upgraded our last lpar to V6R1 this month. I
would have done that much sooner if it wasn't for lazy money grubbing
vendors who want your maintenance money but won't spend any of it to
upgrade their software to be compliant. I changed some vendors just
because I got tired of their attitude. They'll do anything to delay doing
any work. First excuse was "sure they told us just what to do with
ANZOBJCVN and what not a year before V6R1 came out, but we're going to
wait until we get V6R1 so that we can put off doing any work".
Who's the vendor in your case?
