This may be related to file and field CCSIDs.

When you go into Run SQL Scripts in iNav, look for the "Connection >
JDBC Setup" menu option. Click on the Translation tab, and see what
your defaults are... Probably unchecked for both. You probably only
need to select "Translate CCSID 65535".
