Don,

I have seen this happen using our WebReport/400 software when the SMTP
server cannot resolve your internal addresses because of conflicts
resolving the domain address. It is almost always fixed by making changes
to your host name table entries (option #12 on the CFGTCP menu). Do you
have your domain defined in the host name table? Does that point to your
in-house mail server?

That's what the mail router is. It should contain the name of the
exchange server. That's how emails get routed out of your network.
It's probably handling yours because it's inside? Does your exchange
server support relay?

Don,

First, you're using SNDDST. ;)

Check your SMTP settings using CHGSMTP server. Verify Mail Router has

the proper mail router defined, and that FIREWALL is set to *YES. If
you need to change any of this, end SMTP and restart it.

This one is ticking me off!

I have set up a CL which uses the following:

DCL VAR(&EMAIL) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(50) +
VALUE('NICOLE@xxxxxxxxxxxxx')

and then this at the end of the procedure:

SNDDST TYPE(*DOC) TOINTNET((&EMAIL)) DSTD('DOWNLOAD
REQUEST') MSG('Here is the daily MRP +
download for Superior. If questions, +
please respond to +
jcampbell@xxxxxxxxxxxxx') CFMDEL(*NO) +
USRID(JK1 AMEREQIP) DOC(&DOC) FLR(EMAIL)

Now this works GREAT when I DECLARE my OWN home email address, yet
ends normally but produces no email (I'm tracking it on the Exchange
Server) when I use the above declared email address??

Any ideas what I am doing WRONG?

Thanks,
Don C.
