There is no HMC in this case. Just the thin client is connected to the HMC
port acting as a console.

You have a remote system i that is HMC managed, right?
What does a Neoware Thin Client do in this situation?

Otherwise, connecting in to the HMC and working remotely is easy -
especially with V7 of HMC.

We have a remote DR box using a Neoware thin client connected into
the
HMC 1 port. Since this is a remote box and I like doing most of my
work
from my desktop, is there any way I can connect to this thin client
(or
the other HMC port) remotely via our LAN?
