It's already in a win type rack with the adapters, but not our rack.
Co is ending contract and moving to own win type rack, in a very non-data
center location (save $$ by the IT director...).
Same CE for both sites.

It is not recommended to unrack a 0525. They are shipped in an IBM
rack. The are extremely heavy. I would move the whole rack. Double
check / Verify with your current CE and the CE who takes care of the new
location to see if you will void your maintenance contract by moving the
0525 from one rack to another. The 525 system unit is supported in non
IBM racks so that should be good to go.

Subject: moving rack mounted 525

I've been asked (if they won't pay ibm to do it) to help move a 525 rack
system from one site to another, and into a diff rack . Have moved many
non-rack systems. Is there a locking mechanism for the 4327 drives or
other issues other than:
full backup, label everything, proper ground & uncable, move, recable,
startup?
525 cpu
0595 expansion
TS3100 2u tape system
The same IT staff just moved all the Win servers.
