Not quite.

For example, on the i, Materialized Query Tables can only be REFRESH
DIFFERED; whereas on LUW MQTs can be REFRESH DIFFERED or REFRESH
IMMEDIATE.

But from an application developer standpoint, I'd say the DB2 on the i
supports most (all?) the things DB2 on LUW does. In fact, if you look
at the table at the above link, you'll see that DB2 for the i supports
more than DB2 LUW (based upon the number of 'P'-Partial support listed
for each)

I'd be curious to know what Mark's PC guys wanted to do that DB2 on
the i couldn't.
