Are you sure about the units? You say mb - I'm not sure you can even HAVE 256K in a pool these days. Well, you can - just checked - but I can't imagine a machine running that small. This matters because your figures could weigh in on a customer matter here.

Now you say the the HTTP servers don't seem to need much memory - but they might if they are using CGI and some heavy-duty SQL.

For the heck of it, I changed subsystem description QHTTPSVR to use only pool *SPOOL to see what would happen. The HTTP servers still work fine. The only thing I noticed was that *SPOOL pool changed from .25 mb to 30.10 mb after a while - I have automatic performance tuning turned on.

Unlike WAS, the HTTP servers don't seem to need a lot of memory.
