Hi Mark

If by "manually power on" you mean press the white button and do an
automatic IPL then they should apply if the systems ends normally.

However, if you do a manual IPL so you can check the hardware changes as the
system is coming up, then you will need to take some extra action. During a
manual IPL the system will present you with a PTF options screen showing the
installed licensed products. I don't know exactly what has to be done - I
don't ever remember actually using it to do anything with PTF's- but
hopefully it's reasonably obvious. These days, I've always found it just as
easy to IPL again.
