Oh, and for the 69,105th time, 5250-data-stream terminals are *NOT*
"dumb." You think they're dumb, try writing a TN5250E
emulator sometime!

Teletypes and "glass teletypes" (e.g., the Lear ADM-3) are "dumb."

Perhaps "idiot savant" instead of "dumb"? <grin> OK - I know that, in
context, "dumb" means "not programmable". But they do have a lot of
"smarts" which are specialized.
