I am running Java 6.11 and have no issues with Fix Central. That being
said, yes, I have had that happen with Fix Central and some other pgms
after other Java updates.

Java 6 Update 11 broke Fix Central

I had an issue with Fix Central last week. I could not download PTFs
immediately from within my web browser. Neither IE or FireFox would work.
The only thing I had changed was to install the Java 6 Update 11. When I
uninstalled that java update I had no problems downloading fixes. Now I
am
a little gun shy.
Has anyone else experienced something similar with Fix Central and the
java
upgrade? Was it just a fluke and I can re-install the upgrade without
problems?
