I am attempting to create a temporary table in QTEMP using an SQL statement

The base SQL statement works fine, but when I wrap a Declare global tempory

You are using the as-subquery-clause. The subquery includes derived columns
(e.g., min() expressions) so the list of column names is required like so...

-DECLARE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE--*table-name*------------------->

--+----------------------------------------------------------------+-->
| .------------------------------------------------------. |
| V | |
'-(----*column-name*--+-------------------------------------+-+--)-'
| .-COLUMN-. |
'-FOR--+--------+--*system-column-name*-'

--AS--(--*select-statement*--)--+-WITH NO DATA-+--+--------------+--|
'-WITH DATA----' '-*copy-options*-'
