Rob, I agree that is a notification. However, if the SST
settings are 80% or something where you have lots of real GBs
remaining, it's a surprise that FTP, SNADS, etc. just quit
working.
And if my memory hasn't completely failed, I once ran into a bug
where the messages didn't flow if the threshold was set to
something lower than 80%. But those pesky communication
functions sure quit working!
