I fully concur with the intent of the proposed DCR. The CMD command
should support ALL the parameters that you can specify on the CRTCMD
command.
You can also accomplish this by using Alan Campin's excellent COMPILE
command, that allows you to embed the create commands in the source
member. So, for a *CMD object, you can embed the entire CRTCMD command
and all parameters directly within the source, as (specially formatted)
comments. See:

This works with all versions of OS/400 and i5/OS, so you don't have to
wait until you go to V5R4 or V6R1 (or V6R2 if the DCR gets "approved.")
And it works with PDM, WDSCi, RDi, or from any command line.
