Hello everyone,

We had 2 Symbol TN5250 Scanners that we had to send out for repairs. When
we got them back, the keyboard mapping seemed to be screwed up. The big
red Enter key, which has "Fld Exit" above it, is now really the Enter Key.
It used to be Field Exit. The Snd/Clr button used to be the Enter Key,
just like all the rest of the Scanners we have. It is now the Field Exit
key.

The company that we sent these out to do the repairs says this is a result
of the Wavelength/Avalanche software that is loaded on the scanners. I
thought Wavelength is strictly used for the communication to our Access
Points.

Does anybody know of a way to change the mapping of these 2 keys?

We are at V4R5, old, on our System i.

Thanx,

Nick
