The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I am not z aware. I am also not IASP aware. Independent Auxiliary
Storage Pool.
But, in my belief an IASP can be detached from one lpar and assigned to
another. But that's not sharing at the same time. And that would be
simply data or programs, not spooling, etc.
To share data live between lpars involves using stuff like
- DDM or Distributed Data Management (not to be confused with Domino
Domain Monitoring)
- Relational Database Directory entries (See the SQL 'CONNECT TO' clause.)
There are also third party products to sync data between lpars or separate
machines.
Is your organization concerned about "High Availability"? Like, what
happens if that site is stricken by a disaster? IBM has several solutions
for that. Some involve things that whip over my head like "geographic
mirroring". I think that has something to do with IASP's and SAN storage.
But that's a WAG.
Another option is by vendor supplied software. We use Mimix HA Lite to
automatically sync data between lpars on our primary machine and our
secondary machine. IBM will give you a big discount on a secondary
machine providing you certify that you're using it for such a situation.
See 'Capacity Back Up' editions at
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/power/hardware/cbu/index.html
Many of these HA vendors also peddle products to simply sync data for
other than backup purposes.
We test our fail over every other month.
