Use the CALL statement.

PROG1
pgm
dcl &myparm1 *char 1
dcl &myparm2 *char 1
call prog2 (&myparm1 &myparm2)
SNDPGMMSG MSG(&MYPARM1)
SNDPGMMSG MSG(&MYPARM2)
endpgm

PROG2
pgm (&mydodad1 &mydodad2)
dcl &mydodad1 *char 1
dcl &mydodad2 *char 1
chgvar &mydodad1 'A'
chgvar &mydodad2 'B'
endpgm

How can I call CL program #2 (PROG2), passing parms to it which are
updated in PROG2, and return the updated values back to the calling
program (PROG1)?
