Subject: Re: More on MySQL DB2 Storage Engine

All:

Erwin's guess (when I asked him at Directions) about the availability of
the MySQL storage engine... he guessed that it'd be GA by the end of
2008... but it was only a guess, he couldn't make promises (etc,
etc).

Does anyone know more about the availability of the DB2 Storage Engine
for MySQL? If it won't go GA soon, is there an open beta or only a
closed beta? Will it work with V5R4?

I have been experimenting with SugarCRM, and would love the ability to
manipulate the files from RPG as well.
