With newer versions of WDSC / RDi, you can attach the install to an existing Eclipse version.

Keep in mind, however, that most eclipse plug-ins are tied to specific versions of Eclipse ... so you your Sametime client could be running under 3.1, Notes under 3.3, and WDSC under 3.2. The three are not necessarily compatible.
