Hi Robert,

I am modifying an RPG application for a Naurtech handheld scanner
using Windows CE5250 emulation. When I attempt to scan a barcode
tag, I get an "Input Discarded, Too Long For Field" error.

From that message, I would assume that the data in the barcode is longer than the size of the field (on the display file) that you're scanning it into.

I can't imagine that recompiling the program (no matter which options you specify) would have any impact on this error.
