Not normally. If however, the other jobs talk to that job like it was the
mother ship then they may have decided to abandon the galaxy. I assume
the other jobs were fax related jobs.

Hopefully you DID report this to the vendor, right? Because if you and I
are using the same fax software I don't want to have to go through this
also.
