I don't think there is any link between the RDi/WDSC client side
development software and an order for V6R1. Same goes for the WAS Express
code for the server side.

If you are licensed and current for your current RDi/WDSC, should be able
to move to the V6 version of it, but I don't think it's tied to the i5/OS
upgrade in any manner. I'm not sure about the V7 version and how the
licensing works for it.

Might want to check with the WDSC list. The licensing changes so much
with V6 of i and the nom du jour for wdsc.

V5R4 to V6R1 - WDSCi?






We got the box for our V6R1 upgrade yesterday, and didn't see any
WDSCi/RDI media. Does V5R4 licensing convert to V6R1 RDI or WDSCi?
Primarily interested in the LPEX editor for PC/offline source editing.
Did receive the media for i5/OS compilers (5761WDS).
