Fred,
Be sure that the program you're debugging actually uses the field you're
trying to view. I haven't checked LDA fields, but for fields in files,
WDSC optimizes the I/O and doesn't retrieve unused fields.

WDSC Debugging the LDA






Hello,

I'm new to WDSC debugging and when trying to debug a RPGLE program I
wanted
to see the value of a field in the LDA and WDSC would not allow it. The
field was defined in the D specs with UDS.

The version of WDSC is 7 and the OS/400 we are at V5R4.

Is it possible to view the values of fields in the LDA while using WDSC to
debug a program?
