I understand that.

But if you did a ADDPFTRG FILE(MYLIB/MYFILE) TRGTIME(*AFTER)
TRGEVENT(*UPDATE) TRG(MY_APPROPRIATELY_NAMED_TRIGGER)

instead of using the default TRG(*GEN), or if your standards allow for
only one trigger look at the RPL(*YES) option, then you wouldn't have
had an issue.

Just something to keep in mind moving forward.

The issue was that one person applied the trigger and another person (from
another location) applied the trigger also, with the exact same
application instructions. That event was uncoordinated, generating a lot
of trouble.

That is all over but we realized it "the hard way".
