FDF = File Definition File
Basically it is a map between the file on the PC and the file on the
server. You do not want to create one of these by hand. The ideal way,
as Sharon said, is to create a file on the i in the format you want.
Insert a record into it. Download that to your client and select create
and save a FDF in addition to the file you download. Now clear the file
on the i. Delete the file you downloaded, but keep the FDF. (Note: The
file you downloaded must be the same number of columns and attributes as
the file you are going to upload.) Upload the CSV file you created from
Excel using the FDF that you created when you downloaded the other file.
Try that.
