I'm assuming that you have 'Reconnect at logon' specified for the mapped
drives, which causes Windows to cache the password used to connect to the
IFS folder. Once you've changed the password associated with the System I
profile, the next time Windows tries to reconnect the mapped drive it will
disable the Netserver access for the profile (since the cached password is
wrong...)
