That could be Don.

When I was in school, one of my professors said that if you get a job
programming on the AS/400, you'd have a job for 25 years. I'm coming up on
21 years on the iSeries now so assuming that was a good guess...the iSeries
has about 4 more good years left in it. That sounds like it might fit the
IBM marketing plan...

Paul,

With all due respect, that's not going to change the business decision of
companies to change CPU's.

One has to presume that IBM is intentionally allowing this market decline
since they're doing nothing to prevent it.
