Just a follow up. I was successful with mapping Vista Business to our v5r3 box
with no extra configuration on the AS400 side. Changing the LmCompatibility
"seemed" to work, but it may have been something else. The v5r1 box is still
unreachable. Few odd things jump out at me:

1. ISeries Navigator will see the two machines in the initial view, but will
fail to open the v5r1 machine, works fine with the v5r3.
2. If I try to map to \\x.x.x.x\QIBM I get error: Unexpected error has
occurred.
3. If I try to map to a share I made, \\x.x.x.x\TEST I get an error: The file
cannot be accessed by the system.

I can open both the QIBM and another TEST folder on the v5r3 machine just fine
though and both of these shares work fine on our Win2k and WinXP machines.

Has anyone successfully mapped a Vista Business system to a v5r1 mapped drive?

Leonard
