The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Make sure you are on 7.3.3 and you will have no problem. I just put
a USB memory Stick into the HMC, and say Export it to that, and then remove
the USB memory stick and insert into the PC and I can read that into the
SPT. You will have to "convert it", but it's a few steps. Check the load
source and console when you are done, as I have seen problems with that.
Also, you will want the latest SPT if you have some newer hardware in your
machine.

Subject: sysplan
I used my hmc to create a sysplan of one of our boxes. I am now in the
sysplan viewer of the hmc. How do I get that file on something else? I
want to put it on my laptop to put it into the system planning tool. If I
try to ftp to the hmc that doesn't work. Maybe I can ftp out of the hmc
to somewhere else. When I try that, what directory on the hmc will I find
the .sysplan file it created?
