I have yet to have any problems on any of the systems that I have upgraded
to V6R1 with Java Programs or renaming of IFS file names. Even inside the
read me, it says that these JAVA programs will just convert.
As an aside, all of the machines I have upgraded were at V5R4 (not sure that
matters, but worth the statement).

Subject: V6R1 ANZOBJCVN
I've seen alot of discussion of program objects and what is required for
the conversion a V6R1, but i'm not seeing the same level of discussion or
detail about the way that Java programs or IFS object names convert. Even
the redbooks and IBM articles seem to gloss over the Java and IFS names
conversions without a whole lot of discussion of what's required to analyze
and prepare those aspects of the conversion (my ANZOBJCVN reports seem to
show all the IFS items converting just fine). Are those two aspects of the
conversion more or less a no-brainer? Or are there common and typical
steps most shops need to take to prep their IFS and Java objects for the
V6R1 conversion...?
