Hi Konrad

I can't really check right now but under your client access properties
settings or in the connection properties there is an option for the
connection to ask for a password when needed or to prompt every time - are
you sure you don't have the odd one here and there accidentally set up to
prompt every time ?

Evan Harris

Subject: CWBSY0002 Password for user XXXX is not correct?

We have a few of our client access workstations that get prompted every time

they open a client access or ODBC connection. No easily visible rhyme or
reason to the message either. Passwords not out of sync, password less than

eight characters. We have tried the CWBLOGON /c to clear any cached
passwords. Still no joy. Only solution seems to be de-install and re-install

client access and the ODBC drivers.

Our version is V5R2 and this obviously only impacts a very few pcs but it is

irritating! Any experience or a solution other than the brute force one?

Thanks!

Konrad
